A total of 52 beauty contestants representing big cities in Myanmar participated in the competition. Thet San Andersen, who represented North Yangon District of Yangon Region, won the crown to be a contestant in the upcoming 73rd Miss Universe pageant which will be held in Mexico. Miss Universe Myanmar Pageant 2024 is the 11th time of such kind, which has been held since 2013, and the previous titleholder was Amara Bo from Kengtung from eastern Myanmar's Shan State.
